J.P. Licks

The service was good, they have a wide variety of ice cream, and the prices were fair. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that I didn't like their chocolate ice cream.

🍦 🐄 We always love a summertime treat from J.P. Licks, especially the one at Assembly Row! Don’t let the long line fool you! While I’m pretty classic with my final decision, I’ve never tried a flavor at J.P.’s that I didn’t like. However, a classic chocolate frappe is my all time favorite treat at any J.P. Licks!

Been here a few times in the past few months and had a good experience each time. It gets packed during the warmer months but there's plenty of outdoor seating if there are none available inside. Parking is also readily available (and free for the first few hours) at the multiple garages in the area or you can attempt to park on the street. There's tons of different flavors here but I tend to get Pistachio and really enjoy it. It's green, so there's definitely artificial coloring, but they give a generous scoop with plenty of pistachio bits in each bite. Convenient location for a quick dessert before or after a movie or dinner at Assembly. Would continue coming back for more.

I visited on the weekend around 7 pm. It was quite crowded, and we waited almost 20 minutes in line. But in the end, I got my favourite flavor. I am really enjoying their black raspberry ice cream. yummy 😋 If you love pistachio flavor, make sure to ask for a sample before ordering 🙂

I am so sorry for this review, but I have to say something to change something. Seriously! The place and ice cream are okay. HOWEVER, it is soo over priced. All staffs seem to hate their job. Tables are dirty. Bathroom is filthy. Ughhhh 🤢🤮 You can’t tell me your staff clean it regularly if it looks like this. I’m pretty sure whoever wants to sit down and have a good time at your place doesn’t want to experience a very dirty table, nasty bathroom and unprofessional staff. Me and my bf ordered waffles Sunday and a medium vanilla ice cream on a waffle cone costed us $21 and some change 🥴
