J.P. Gifford Café and Catering Co.

Rode past here a few times and always seen people sitting and eating out front. So decided to stop in today for lunch. It's quite small inside, but the service and food was excellent! I really enjoyed the Prosciutto and Mozzarella Cutlet Sandwich!

I recently started visiting this place, and I must say, the food is fantastic! They offer a wide variety of dishes, making it a great spot for breakfast, lunch, or any meal in between. Their coffee and specialty drinks are also top-notch. Colton, our server, was incredibly helpful, and the limited-time drinks were an absolute delight. The shaken espresso and the smores mocha were both incredibly tasty.

This has always been one of my favorite places to grab food, which is why this is disappointing to write. Since the restaurant changed ownership, the dining area is often dirty, and my food has been coming out burnt more than once. I also frequently order the Granny Smith apple melt, and it’s often confused with the chicken cutlet version, even when ordered clearly. I really hope things improve, because this place used to be a go-to for me. I hope the new owner sees this and takes this feedback seriously.

The Cajun fries should come with chipotle aioli but that was missing from our takeout order. Also, the box of the fries was open so they were cold by the time we got them home. The other two pictures are apparently a cheese danish, but I don't actually see any cheese.

Nice little small town café that serves up a variety of food, baked goods, coffee, tea and even beer and wine. The staff is very friendly, there are a few tables for dining in, and there are parking spaces on either side of the building. I highly recommend getting the JP Breakfast Burrito or the Smoked Salmon on a bagel. Both are incredibly delicious.
