Joyful House

This was our first trip here and it won't be our last. This was hands down the best Chinese food I've ever eaten! I had sesame chicken and my husband had beef lo mein, both were combination platters. Inside was clean, service was fast and the food was beautiful and delicious. I like that they serve all kinds of Asian cuisine as well! The portions were good and it was very reasonably priced!

The first time I ordered takeout here, the very first impression when I got home was how cleanly and neatly the food was packed - no greasy-on-the-outside containers with leaking edges. And then all the food was so good! I love having a local place where I can order a mix of Chinese, Japanese, and Thai, and know it’s all going to be delicious. Current favorites are the pad Thai and shrimp tempura roll. This is my go-to Asian takeout spot despite having several closer shops to choose from.

For being rated so high im absolutely disappointed. Been here 3 times months apart, I was disappointed the first 2 times but decided why not give them one more try, I was wrong to do so. Ordered the hunan chicken today and asked for it to be spicy (since the tso wasnt last time at all), it was as spicy as a saltin cracker, as for the chicken haahaa what chicken??? They should change it to hunan vegetables, what a waste of money. The only positive I can say is that they are nice. Avoid unless you're a fan of bland food aka vegetables in sauce that are overpriced. I really wanted to like them since they are local but unfortunately ill be looking elsewhere

Very good Chinese food. Spring rolls were tasty, nice crunch on the outside but the inside was a little doughy but still good. Wonton soup was very good, lots of wontons that had a good amount of meat inside, very good broth. General Tao’s chicken was excellent. Large portion and just the right amount of heat. We will definitely be ordering from Joyful House again.

I placed an order for chicken hibachi, general tso chicken, miso soup, and a pizza egg roll. I was really disappointed with the chicken hibachi. I looked like orange chicken with a bunch or sauce on it. My partner ate the general tso and said it was not good. It was the first time we have ordered from here and it was a bit disappointing with the 4.5 rating.
