The place was recommended so we gave it a try. My son absolutely loves the Jollof and I enjoyed it as well. No one was here but it’s close to closing so I’m glad there isn’t a big rush.

They're food is the best, I love the egunsi soup and the jollof rice. Clean environment and great service also. In fact, anytime I decided not to cook, it's only going to be their food cos I have tried like 3 other African restaurants in the area, none meet up to their standards.

Looking into more African places to eat. Now that I know dodo is fried plantains, Ill have to add to my order :-) Yes, going to different culture restaurants gives and education and the menu here is no exception. The menu items are in are in Nigerian dialect that I need to ask. They have translations in english, but that not the point of coming to an ethnic restaurant. The wait wasnt bad and the food appears to be home cooked. My meal was yam porridge in the pictures

There were no customers on the establishment but the customer service was great. However, starting to notice that when I eat my food in the establishment, the food is good but when carry out, the food is over cooked (stock fish) and very small portions for the money you pay. This is a big deal so not sure if I will frequent this place especially when I’m not that close.

I now understand why this place had no customers. 1. The food is overpriced. 2. The rice tasted old—its texture made that obvious. 3. The plantains had a strange taste and texture. They were dry and completely flavorless. 4. The beef—oh my. It was tough, bland, and served in a ridiculously small portion. I need to emphasize the portion size again—it was tiny. When I cut the beef in half and took a bite, I immediately realized it wasn’t good. I went to the counter and politely asked if I could swap the beef for fish instead. I was told “No.”—unless I paid for an entirely new plate. The reason? Because I had already taken a bite. Well, yes, I had—how else would I know it was bad? Overall, this place deserves zero stars. They didn’t have any drinks available either. The customer service w
