Joujou

Joujou is a great addition to the neighborhood. The menu is full of French classics with really fun twists. Had the spiny lobster salad, cod with pineapple, and the baba au rhum - easily the best version of the dessert I’ve had. Already planning my next visit.

The chef hit it out of the ballpark again. An amazing restaurant with astonishing food. You can see that they paid attention to every detail, even the tableware is beautiful. Congratulations to the team. This is a new must-visit in San Francisco. Highly recommended.

If opening weekend was this good, they’re going places. Great service, innovative but comforting food. Highlights were the black cod, chicken liver mouse, and the grilled truffle oysters. We will be back 🙂

Stunning interior, amazing staff, and incredible French food. Don't sleep on the fries though! They're so good

*disclaimer: low rating but it was just their second day open* Decor and service were pretty good as expected and truly loved the marble and bar area. Great attention to detail to the cutlery as well as ambiance. Food disappointed with poor sequencing and over cooked fish. Fries were overcooked too. Dessert needed more melting it felt unfinished to me. For a high end highly priced concept I would’ve expected a better oiled machine. It may be due to its recent opening. I’ll be back hoping for what this restaurant should be well known: the food.
