Jot India Restaurant (Columbia Tusclum)

This location recently opened. I have not been to any of the other Jot India previously. The lunch menu had more options than I had anticipated and I was excited to find several lamb dishes. My food came out quickly and was very tasty. The lunch portions were all around $12. There is the option for $17 that includes more items. I had the Lamb Saag at spice level 3. A very comfortable level for me. I try to stay in the middle on a first visit.

Food and service here was incredible. Hadn’t seen it before. Must’ve recently opened. Swung in for lunch and got one of the lunch specials, which included two dishes, a salad, rice, naan, and a dessert. Everything was incredible. Chicken was delicious, some of the best Indian food I’ve had.

This is such a welcome addition to the neighborhood! The food was fantastic and I appreciate that they have a large menu, offering more than just basic Indian fare. If you are a spice lover, they also ensure that you can ask for hotter on the scale (up to 6). We had kachumber salad, samosa chat, chicken ajwain, chicken jalfrezi, and achar (hot pickles). I love ajwain-style curry (with carom seeds) and it's difficult to find elsewhere. Everything was fresh and portions quite generous. We will certainly be back to try more of the menu!

We live down the street and have been anxiously awaiting the opening of Jot India - we were not disappointed! The garlic naan, chicken saag and tikka masala were fantastic. We got take out, but service was great when picking up. It will be dangerous to have so close!

The food was really good and you can taste the fresh ingredients. Loved it. I got the chicken Tula masala and garlic naan. Nice and clean inside, good customer service
