Overall, a great first experience. Service from Tanner was quick and friendly. My chicken avocado enchiladas were amazing - probably the best enchiladas I've ever had. Nice, clean space and clean restrooms.

I went here with my family the first time since new ownership. I got the shrimp habanero. It was delicious. However the shrimp was cold so I didn’t make a big deal about it but the chef himself came out with it personally and apologized. I didn’t want it to be a spectacle but man when that’s hot it’s great the manager came by and asked how it was and she assumed responsibility. But it’s not just this. the attitude and attentiveness of the staff is impeccable. I would definitely recommend the “beans in a bowl” that comes as a side dish to the habanero shrimp. I gave it 5 stars because it probably the best service I’ve had in downtown Salina.

Stopped in here while in town. The bartender, Kellye was very pleasant and engaging. She was able to offer suggestions and followed up. If you go, definitely see Kellye she's awesome!! Food was okay for tex mex, chips and salsa were good. I had the carnitas chimichanga, the Verde sauce on top was not my favorite, it comes with rice and beans. Chile con queso was also just okay, tasted a little bit like Velveeta. I also ordered the tres leches, it was decent!

Excellent food and prices! There staff is so attentive and everything comes out quick even when it’s busy. The Tex mex menu was a great addition to our evolving down town area. I don’t always rave about new chain restaurants going in, but my family and I enjoy it so much! The spinach dip is a must every time.

Jose Peppers in downtown Salina is a must-try for anyone craving delicious Tex-Mex flavors served hot! The menu boasts a great selection, with plenty of categories ranging from lunch to dinner. They also have separate menus for daily specials and drinks. The restaurant has a modern interior with plenty of seating, and I noticed that it was very clean, including the tables. The staff were attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even better. I'm already looking forward to trying more menu items because the food is great!
