Customer Reviews
Came here for dinner on our last night of our trip to peaks Island. We went to nearly every other restaurant on the island and have to say We were definitely underwhelmed here. This is the very first restaurant you will see upon getting to the island. It’s a great location with fantastic views of the water. We got the nachos, clam chowder, and the chicken sandwich with fries. The clam chowder was good, but most everything else was subpar. Server was friendly, but bottom line is skip the food and come here for a drink overlooking the water. Sidenote, Thursday Night is trivia night and is their busiest night of the week. We were unable to get a table on Thursday and came back on Friday, which was karaoke night.
Right next to the ferry. Nice friendly staff. The food and atmosphere was so amazing we stayed another hour and caught a later ferry. The oysters and fried flounder sandwich were delicious. They have a bar and lounge area with ith pool table. Outdoor seating. Lunch menus is from the outstanding Milly's food truck right by the restaurant and dinner starts at the restaurant at 3. Check out their website for more information but definitely give them a try.
Let me start off saying the location is great and the staff was friendly. Those were sadly the highlights, though. We went on a winter day, and the staff seemed very overwhelmed. I wish the communication had been better. We made it clean when our ferry would arrive and told it would be fine. Our food took almost 40 mins to arrive. We had to get it boxed to leave and run to the ferry. The bill also had food we didn't receive. I ordered a grilled cheese, and it was cold and not melted. It might have been an off day, but I was disappointed, especially given the high cost.
Nice location. Friendly staff but the service was slow and they served me the worst hash browns I've ever had- over fried to the point the inside was as hard as the outside and couldn't bite through it. My eggs were good but bread was black on one side and the other people at my table said their food was all a bit charred as well. I do think the food would have been good if it hadn't been over cooked so much but we didn't get to taste that version. Also hard to give a good review to a place that served such a totally inedible hash brown.
Amazing place! I came in with my family.. we needed to change a diaper and they went out of their way to offer me a private room to change my little (no changing station here) it’s not exactly small kid/ baby prepped (high chair, menu) BUT they definitely try to accommodate best they can and that makes allll the difference!!!
