This is really an amazing place to dine! I visited here with my family for lunch on a Sunday and we had such a great experience. Vivian was our server and she is such a jewel! Very polite, kind, and attentive. She made sure that we had all that we needed and checked in on us frequently. Now the food was truly amazing! I ordered the egusi soup with pounded yam and baked chicken. This was the closest to the home cooked egusi I've had! Everything was flavored and seasoned so well! My family had the oha soup with fish and stated it was really good as well. The prices are very reasonable and you'll receive great portion sizes. I must also compliment the atmosphere. If you enjoy wasting your time, come here. I never felt the need to walk out of a restaurant until now, but that is exactly what I did. I cannot tell you if the service was great because the waitstaff barely spoke to us. Being treated like a second-class citizen by people who look like you is wild. Restaurants should make every guest feel welcome, and that was not the case here. My advice to the restaurant is simple: treat everyone the same. No race should receive better treatment than another. Everyone should receive the same treatment, regardless of race.

I ordered the grilled fish with plantains and it was very good! It was not spicy but very flavorful. Our waitress, Funke was extremely nice and she explained the menu to us. I liked the pictures on the menu. Be sure to get their Zobo drink, I’ll be back for sure!

Very friendly staff. Great place. Nicely furnished and decorated. The food was great and tasty just like it. If you want real authentic West African food, this is a great place to come. The debate between which jollof rice is better - Ghana or Nigeria??? It is still a debate 😂 😂 The jollof was really good. It tasted just like our, Ghanaian, jollof.. I will let you decide 😂 😂. Go and enjoy food. You will not be disappointed. They give big portions so go with an empty stomach..

Disappointing Customer Service at Silver Spring Location I want to start by saying that my experience at Jollof Etcetera has always been excellent. Just yesterday, my family and I dined in at the Annapolis location and everything went well—the servers were polite, welcoming, and appreciative. We truly enjoyed our meal and the overall experience. Unfortunately, the experience at Jollof Etcetera in Silver Spring was the complete opposite. On our way back to New Haven, my husband and I stopped at the Silver Spring location to order food. The young lady at the entrance had a very rude, unwelcoming attitude when taking our order. We ordered oat with oha soup, paid in full, and were never informed that oat was unavailable. After waiting over 25 minutes, another staff member casually told us the
