Ordering from Joloff Cafe and Grill was a very tasty experience. Depending on what you order, the food can be very spicy. Almost reminds me of how West Indians cook their food. Usually there's going to be a long wait, but I guess because the food is good, people don't really have a problem waiting.
100% halal Senegalese food. Must try their Chicken & Lamb Dibe with their Jollof rice. Also try their Fufu with their Peanut Stew (contains Goat or Beef). Wish I could give this place 10 stars for how delicious their food is. Definitely coming back!
Every meal I have eaten, I enjoyed. My last meal was the red snapper with plantains. That fish sweet me to the bone. I love the sauce they serve on the fish and the onions. I am having it a second time.❤️😋😋😋
Wow wow wow this food was goood! I waited almost an hour from the time I ordered to receive the food, but honestly, it was well worth the wait. Everything was fresh, flavorful, just so good. I ordered a bunch of stuff just to try everything. I ordered the lamb Shawarma, a chicken Shawarma, the tilapia dish with jollof rice, and the chicken and fish Fatayas, And I also ordered the dessert called thiakry. EVERYTHING WAS SOO GOOD. Im really impressed.
Chill spot with a few seats, but mostly a order & go spot. The food is mostly made to order so everything is fresh. Please make time if you are not ordering ahead. This is my first time having Senagalese food. I got the jollof, lamb, sweet plantains, and also the pepper chicken, with a sorrel on the side. Me & my family devoured everything. The Jollof was perfectly seasoned without any bottom of the pot burn like you find at some places. My impression of Senegalese food is a mixture of all flavors in a dish. Sweet grilled onions, pickled onions with sour & spices, flavorful savory jollof rice, smoky grilled flavored pepper chicken, & the lamb was so good. Their version of sorrel called bissap was full of flavors but still recognizable. The place was jumping with orders flying out the door
