Absolutely loved our experience at JoJo’s Restaurant in New Albany, MS! The food was delicious—each dish we tried was packed with flavor and made with plenty of care. I had been craving a spicy margarita, and their spicy cucumber jalapeño margarita hit the spot! Don’t leave without trying the hot crawfish pimento jalapeños dip served with fresh baked bread to dip. Some of our other favorites were the bronze catfish with gouda grits, chicken alfredo, gumbo, and Caesar salad. There’s something special about a place where you can taste the hometown hospitality in every bite. The cozy, welcoming atmosphere made it a perfect spot to gather with family, and the service was friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be back—JoJo’s is a gem right in North Mississippi!

This was my first time trying this restaurant tonight, and it truly won my heart. The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere made the whole experience even better. The decor inside is beautiful, and the old music playing in the background gives the place a warm, classic feeling that makes you want to stay and enjoy the moment. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The manager/owner even took a moment to tell us that deaf people and everyone else are always welcome here anytime, which meant so much to me. That kind of kindness and inclusiveness really made us feel comfortable and appreciated. We were also told that the food is made from scratch and sourced from local stores, and you can truly taste the quality in everything. And I have to mention the red velvet

So I ordered take out. Kiley/kylie was the young lady who took my order over the phone, she was very kind and patient. However I sent my fiancé to retrieve my order bc it was my bday dinner, and he stated when he picked up my food and was about to leave some guy who appeared to be the owner made the statement that “he could have at least left a tip since u gave him the cake” lol which was my bday treat. But ok🤷🏽‍♀️ I won’t get into the controversial debate about tipping, lol. Beside that I had the catfish and grits add shrimp and I found it to be quite delicious even tho it didn’t seem like authentic Cajun cuisine. The mixed greens which was my side however were definitely from a can, but I just poured the juice from the shrimp and grits over them for a little seasoning which they lacked

The New Orleans atmosphere was captivating, offering a unique experience. The great-tasting creole food was truly a delight to the senses. Oyster and shrimp poboys were a culinary highlight, filled with wonderful flavors. The owners and staff were very friendly, making the experience even more pleasant. Overall, the entire experience created a memorable and enjoyable visit.

Husband ordered Mango wings, they were great down to the last few and the drumette was cold in the center, I ordered the hot crawfish and artichoke dip didn't come until the entree was bought out, we had it taken off our ticket; well my husband ordered gumbo and hated it; I ordered the Mississippi braised fish and grits and the fish was under cooked; the drinks we ordered was watered down, our waitress was friendly helpful and apologetic and the older man that walked around was helpful but it's not a place we'd visit again, there were pros but more cons for us. If I must praise the one thing we both enjoyed it would definitely be the grits.
