John's Fried Chicken

Delicious food! My first time trying Dominican. I asked the owner to make me a dish she would enjoy. She served me mangu with fried eggs, alongside liver and fried cheese. It was a delicacy. Just one of many meal combination that are available to you upon arrival.

Ordered a catering for earlier today. And the problem started from the start when I recieved the order. when I get to my house i realize one of my trays aren’t even what I ordered and I’m missing a chicken tray. I called to see how this can be handled I was told they’ll refund me lol. Obviously I want food not money. But the situation was able to be resolved eventually thankfully just for the food to finally arrive and be the sorriest excuse for Dominican food I’ve ever had in my life. Do not recommend you want good Caribbean food take a drive to Passaic county cause I wouldn’t even feed this to my dog. Yes all trays went straight in the garbage. Worse 200$ ever spent.

This is a updated review I been coming here for 4 years and the food is always good. Only thing you never know how much it's gonna cost till you have to pay for it. The chicaron is delicious. Garlic chicken tasted great! Rice was good and the avocado salad was on point. You'll probably spend 10-13 a meal so we'll worth the price

Very chill lunch or late dinner place for a small group. Lots of options and everything tastes great! Very clean and relaxed. Excellent staff. Great place for authentic Latin food and everyone speaks perfect English. No complaints, a must go to if you’re in the area and not looking for something casual.

A friend told me about John's Fried Chicken so I looked it up and saved it. This all happened in a day told me on Saturday visited on Sunday. It was my Beautiful Daughter and her S/O and my Gorgeous Wife. As we were celebrating my Exquisite Wife's Birthday. Stepping in John's an up to the counter. You see the good looking food many choices. Where do I what do I order. Wife ordered the chicken seasoned white rice red beans and tostones. Daughter and S/O ordered seasoned chicken with yellow rice and tostones. I ordered fried chicken black rice and tostones. Lemonade for the three and told the Hostess to pick whatever for me Strawberry Lemonade fit for a King 😁 Fried chicken is good dark meat legs and thighs.
