I picked up my friend from the airport. He was arriving late. We needed to find a spot for some cold beers and some food. We arrived 1020 food service stopped at 10. The bartender, I forget her name, but she saw we were hungry, and offered us two hot beef sandwiches, with all the fixings, white horseradish, freshly grilled long hots, and that sharp provolone. Oh my goodness. So good!! Definitely recommend this place! Even the locals welcomed us. Even tho we are both local, definitely felt right at home.
We have been meaning to try this place since we moved to the area and we drive by it all of the time we decided to go on a Thursday night, which conveniently ended up being a very fun trivia night for the tavern- we stayed after our meal was over to play with the rest of the restaurant and really really enjoyed it! As far as The Food, it was very tasty!! We ordered a Buffalo chicken cheesesteak for myself and a regular cheesesteak and loaded fries for my partner. The Food came delivered to the table, hot and delicious. They have an easy to read menu with a center bar, booth seating, and not a bad seat in the house. The only downside we had to the visit was that we felt a little out of place like maybe there were more locals there and we might actually have been sitting in someone’s seat t
Classic small town pub! The staff was great and regular patrons were friendly and welcoming. You could tell that much of the food was homemade. We had a fantastic sliced roast beef sandwich with house marinated peppers and a burger.
Man I loved this place! What a great local bar..we just happened to stop in on Trivia night and the whole place was vibin. The bartender was super friendly and the food was really good! For 9 of us the bill was only $125, which is some of the cheapest food around! But it was so good!
Like the place, you can. Have a beer watch the game and enjoy the company. Food is good and beer is cold, and the staff is really nice
