Joey's Pizza

After living in this area for over 5 decades, I'd never heard of Joey's Pizza. I only ran across it recently while surfing the web for something else. A picture of their Pepperoni Pizza caught my eye so I investigated further. It had the same look of my favorite pepperoni pizza from back in the day when Shakey's was alive. I loved thier pizza! So I had to check this out... Okay, so the place might be a little outdated, but if you were as old as Joey's is, you'd be a little outdated as well. It's run down, and has that dark noir atmosphere, with leaking roof and dirty dishes piled high on the counter. Old pinball and vidio machines add to the classic feeling. Today was my first time trying Joey’s. The staff was super friendly. They had accidentally burned my pizza, and when I came to pick up my order they already had another in the oven because they wanted to make sure the quality was up to par. So thoughtful! And then they gave me a coupon for the wait. The pizza was DELICIOUS. Best I’ve had in the area. Crust is perfectly crunchy. We will definitely be back!

Live in Salem and hadn't been to Joey's in several years. Went Dec 17th for lunch with two of our adult children and had a pepperoni pizza and Fireside pizza. We all loved it and it was nostalgic to remember the little pepperoni with the grease in the bottom and the little brown benches that have been there forever with several coats of paint. Thanks for a great outing. We won't wait so long till we visit again.

Zach and Cameron are Fabulous and so dedicated to their customers. Every time we go to Joeys(which is often) Both these people treat us with such great customer service! We appreciate you guys and super yummy pizza and fun atmosphere always 😁😁😁

I don’t care what anybody has to say about this pizza joint is the best pizza in the whole world. It might look rundown from inside the building, but the employees are really great and the pizza is absolutely amazing. Been coming here since I was just a little kid.
