Joe's ribs $ tips BBQ

The worst place to get rib tips from! The rub tips were tuff it was like chewing shoe leather. They only give you about 5 fries. I spent 20.88 for a large rib tip. Stay far away!!!

This was a good place for an affordable price, (yeas ago) I ordered 4 large rib tips and 6 pcs of chicken spent over $80 and waited over 1/2 an hour ( bc I kept getting skipped) and when I finally asked what the hold up was the lady at the counter was very rude. I overheard the cook say they wall out of ribs ! The old man (Joe) brought over a container that had what looked like days before leftover and told him .. just cook this it’s good ! Not sure if it’s bc I look white ,but I know if it was the other way around it wouldn’t be ok! They knew they mashup & tried to fix it w/ free pie! Nope give me my $$ back! I’m sure my $$ is worth more somewhere else!

It is highly unhygienic to purchase food here. The individuals responsible should be deeply embarrassed by their actions.

I met the owner Mr. Joe and he was friendly and inviting. I told him I was visiting from Florida and this was our first time in his business.Mr. Joe and his staff treated us like we were family, like we were returning customers. Everyone was so friendly and the young man cutting the ribs said to us "once you taste this food you'll be back.. We ordered the large rib tips and fish sandwich and he was right, we went back 2 days later and reorder the same. Mr. Joe was therer again and he greeted us and said ya'll came back...the food was delicious and whenever we come back to Chicago, Joe's bbq and fish iis a must stop...nice meeting you sir and keep doing what you do.

I’m only giving one star because that’s the lowest I can go. I ordered $41 food this place is so disgusting. The food is horrible. I would not recommend anyone to go to this place. They nasty the tips has so much fat on it.
