Joe's Place

Our first visit to this business. The walleye breakfast was very good. Waitstaff did not come around for coffee refill until we were ready to leave so didn't get second cup. Place was clean including the rest rooms.

Worst eggs Benedict ever. I don’t know if the ‘chef’ has ever seen a picture of one. What was on top of my eggs? Horrible. Service was okay. He didn’t ask how my meal was. Place is nice.

I wasn't even hungry, and I tried the Walleye breakfast because why the hell not? I really want breakfast sausage, but it's Lake of the Woods, lets spend a few extra $$$ and get the walleye. I ate all of it. Best walleye I've had in my life, no cap. Had acid reflux for the rest of the day, but it was worth it. Not only will I go to Joe's Place again, but I'll demand that everyone get the walleye breakfast. My father bristled when I said it was the best walleye I've had in my life. He is a walleye fisherman and was a chef at a fine dining restaurant in his 20s so he has a lot of misplaced pride in thinking that he's good, but the truth is he downs a pint of vodka by the time the food is ready... I didn't know grilled chicken could be moist, delicious, and not black until I was 20 when so

Excellent recommendation from a friend! To the cook in the back: if someone asks for crispy hashbrowns, that means to at least cook on both sides. Other than that your cooking is fabulous 👌 Thanks for a home cooked breakfast!!

Great place for breakfast if you’re in town. Number 2 combo is great. Will not make you number 2 quick🤪
