The fried chicken is very nice and worth going out of your way for. I visited several times while staying in the area. I highly recommend this place to all Eastern Kentucky visitors.
It was such a great meal with a friendly lady
The chef I stopped here with LOVED the fried chicken, mashed potatoes and other sides. Amazing atmosphere! Just a really fun place to stop when you're in the area.
It isn't what we expected. The chicken was ok. Mashed potatoes are instant and the gravy on it tasted like it was made from old chicken grease. The slaw was ok needed some black pepper. Burger was basic. Chuckwagon sandwich was standard. Gravel parking lot. A few picnic tables are available to use.
The employees were very nice. I got my food fast and it was hot. I drove 10 miles here because of the great reviews. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give the food about a 4. Was saddened.
