Jinza Teriyaki

How can a place be so busy and so fast? Try their teriyaki chicken salad...haven't seen anything like it. Plus friendly and efficient cashier and they don't expect a tip on the credit card charge. Wow

The dining place is a bit small and it gets full easily during the lunch hour rush. If you are a bit on the claustrophobic side or just afraid of Covid, get your orders to-go. Food is nothing exceptional. It is just average. The fried gyoza is a bit dry for me. The crunchy roll's rice isn't that rolled well into the sushi. The tempura Cali roll is a bit good. There is another Japanese resto across the street that is better. Oh, they serve breakfast here.

A staple of the Cal Poly Pomona lunch rush. Jinza offers amazing food at a solid price. Don't forget to ask for the white sauce.

Nice quick serve restaurant. They blended a Japanese feel with college environment mentality. I tried the chicken bowl and it was good. Looks like they use sushi rice. Theres a sauce called "white sauce? It taste like the Japanese mayo 'Cupie' and they appear to create new sauces for their food every once in a while. They served the food like a sit down restaurant and they are very friendly.

I was getting a drink from Starbucks and I can smell teriyaki wafting through the air. I walked over to the restaurant and ordered their chicken and beef combo. It's grilled teriyaki chicken and thinly sliced beef on a bed of white rice. It comes with a side of salad with some white dressing on it, kind of tasted like mayo. They give you a small container of hot sauce and white sauce upon request. Teriyaki sauce is self serve on the right side of the restaurant. The beef and chicken was okay, really nothing special.
