A go-to spot for dinner with friends or family! We got seats immediately for dinner around 7 pm. The banchan is always good and has a big variety. I often get the Jeju pork noodle (really good!) but we decided to try the kimchi stew with pork this time. The portion was quite large and the stew was delicious. The leek pancake was also one of the best I have had. It had some seafood mixed in and it was super crispy and fresh off the griddle! Service was great. Overall, I had a wonderful experience.
Korean food isn’t traditionally looked at as food so much as it is “nourishment”. This place epitomizes that. It’s the super healthy version of Korean dishes. Even the Kalbi Tang is loaded with vegetables. The Dolsot nears the level of being Temple food. The Ban Chan is super fresh. The Pajeon super fresh spring onions.
The cold jelly pig’s feet (naengchae jokbal) were delicious—very generous in portion and packed with vegetables, definitely worth the $40. The spicy jokbal was the same price, but most of it was just bone, so ordering the cold version is the better choice. The yukgaejang wasn’t spicy and my child really enjoyed it. However, they didn’t pack it for takeout, so it’s something you should double-check. The soondae (Korean blood sausage) was also tasty! Update 1/1/2026 Thank you for packing the yukgaejang that was forgotten last time and for preparing it again. Happy New Year!
One of my go to’s in Koreatown. I always ther pork belly slice - medium size and share with my partner. It comes with a soup and the special kimchi. We also share the leek pancake and bibim dang myeon! The appetizers are such a good price and I love the variety of all 3 dishes combined.
This was my first visit after hearing about this place from my daughter. I’m a soondaeguk maniac, so I had high expectations. The soup broth was good, and the side dishes were decent. However, the kimchi was disappointing and did not meet my expectations. Unfortunately, the biggest downside was the service. The servers were rude and inattentive, never checking to see if we needed anything. The only time they seemed pleasant was when I asked for the check. Overall, the food was average, but the poor service makes this a place I wouldn’t return to.
