The owner is wonderful and we had a lovely lunch experience at Jim’s! It felt like eating a home cooked meal made by a mom. We left feeling very happy and satisfied. 10/10 recommend for casual dine in or take out!!

Food was amazing and the service was excellent. Very friendly staff. We even received a complimentary appetizer dish. Recommend 100%. You won't be disappointed!

You know this place is authentic when you see all the Chinese people eating here for Chinese New Year’s! The owners are so sweet and the food is authentic. I wanted fish for the holiday and she made sure we got the right kind for good luck. She took the time to understand what I was looking for and made such delicious food. I really felt like I was back at home at this restaurant. The owner spoke both Cantonese and Mandarin too, which was so lovely. It’s hard to find an authentic Chinese atmosphere like this on the peninsula. Good vibes. Highly recommend.

The food was delicious and authentic. Similar to the taste palette in Guang Zhou china. The owner lady might be cantonese. Was craving for this taste after spending a week in the US.

We had the Hunan Beef and String Bean chicken with fried rice with a pot of jasmine tea. The first time we came I had the sesame chicken. The sesame chicken was more like “American Chinese/Panda Express” style, but the hunan beef and string bean chicken were amazing! Huge portions, and the waitress showed me the bin of fresh green beans she pulled from the front fridge to take to the kitchen. Both dishes had generous amounts of perfectly cooked veggies and meat. The waitress is so sweet and friendly too. This is the best restaurant we’ve been to in the Monterey area so far.
