Jim's Seafood Fresh & Fried

This restaurant was recommended to us by chat GPT. This is a family owned and operated place located in a strip mall. It has a charming small town friendly atmosphere and frequented by locals. It has a wide variety of fresh fish. I had the fried flounder with a side of fried okra and coleslaw. I got the senior portion and it was still 2 large pieces of fish. The hush puppies were excellent as well. The proprietor gave us recommendations and brought out his homemade tartar sauce. It’s only a 10-minute drive off of I-95 and sure beats any of the large chain restaurants.

THIS RESTAURANT IS THE BEST SEAFOOD. I HAD THE SHRIMP, FRIES, AND SLAW. THE HUSHPUPPIES ARE THE BEST!!!💯💕 MY HUSBAND HAD FLOUNDER AND MY BROTHER HAD TROUT...THEY SAID IT WAS VERY GOOD. CLEAN...GREAT FOOD...GREAT SERVICE.🙌

My first time eating Jim’s seafood. We ordered online and picked it up, so easy so fast. This is far better than 99% of the coastal places. Since I spend most every weekend at the beach , I eat a lot of seafood and this is not only better but also half the price it costs there. I can’t wait to go back again. I had shrimp and crab cakes with fries and slaw.

I wouldn’t care if it cost $1.00 to eat here. BTW the price $50-100 is what we paid last time we went. We had a large group that day. Haven’t been there in years and you will never get my money again. Your service sucks! I will continue happily dining somewhere else. The owner/management is petty and would rather give nasty responses to the negative reviews instead of work on improving their flaws. Plus your food is BLAND and you can use a lesson in cooking crab cakes.

Great family run restaurant with friendly staff. Great selection of fish to choose from. I had the black bass and the wife has flounder. It was cooked just right. We both really enjoyed our meals.
