Jimmy's Gyros & Grill

Stopped by today for some lunch & it did not disappoint! The Chicago dogs & fries were delicious. The service was quick & friendly, very short wait and they helped us combine our order in a way that was cost saving. So glad we saw this place on our walk and stopped in for lunch.

⭐️ 2 out of 5 “More sad than sizzling” I stopped by this little hotdog and burger joint downtown hoping to grab a classic Chicago-style burger experience. I ordered a double cheeseburger with fries and a drink, seventeen bucks later, I was wondering if I’d accidentally ordered the “disappointment combo.” The place itself is tiny, like, 10 people max and that’s if everyone agrees to breathe shallow, tiny. My burger looked like it wanted to go home early, and the taste… let’s just say it had the energy of someone who gave up halfway through grilling. If you’re on a burger hunt in Chicago, keep walking this ain’t the stop. But hey, the fries were at least shaped like fries, and the soda worked! 🙏

I arrived at my hotel in Chicago around 11:00pm and it was 5 degrees outside so I didn’t feel like going out. Ordered a Gyro and Baklava from here because the ratings looked good. Food arrived around 11:30pm. The gyro was pretty good and the baklava was great. I’d order from here again.

Great Space , Met with hospitality and kindness, after a very long night of partying I found this establishment to be comforting and professional- Speed Time as they prep, cook and packed my order. Will recommend and come back any day God bless yall amen

Good, authentic, Chicago Dog. The Gyro was stacked with meat! Fries were okay. There’s a small counter around the inside to stand at and eat or use one of the few stools.
