I have given this location too many chances, only because I do not have many lunch options near my office. A month ago I placed a mobile order however it was not ready when I arrived. Only the female owner was there, trying to handle all orders- mobile, in dining room and drive thru. While doing multiple tasks, she was wearing a pair of gloves, the same gloves to make food, work on register, make drinks and handle money- the same gloves. As she was going back to make my sandwich, I had to tell her to change gloves. Today I placed a mobile order and when I arrived it was ready. I was eating in the dining room and walked up the pick up counter to request more oil and vinegar in a little cup. My husband and I agreed to get some Jimmy Johns food from this Norfolk Virginia location yesterday (close to the Little Creek Navy Base). My husband chose the Billy goat sandwich with white bread and enjoyed his sandwich. I chose the Mediterranean Feast theme option that comes with the Mediterranean Chicken Wrap (I think it was a spinach tortilla wrap)and Pita chips with hummus and I found the food to be nourishing. The employees handling our sandwich orders took eager interest in ensuring we had what was ordered.

I ordered online for drive through pickup, upon arriving, I waited in the drive through behind someone for 10 minutes, I ended up backing out and sitting in parking lot for another 10, went inside and was not greeted, stood there for a bit when there was no one in there- only one car in the drive through. Finally got my order and when I left the same car was still waiting in the drive through. They were so slow making the sandwiches in there, this is the worst location I’ve ever been to. When I got home, my sandwiches were a mess. They weren’t even put together, the ingredients were just thrown in there with the bread.

I ordered 2 Italian subs and 1 just turkey and cheese for delivery. While my order was “freakishly fast” it’s probably because they neglected to add the meat and cheese to not one but both Italian subs. I called and will receive a refund.

If I could give zero stars I would. The management and owners are the most unfriendly people I have ever met. Went today with my 2 year old son and was told I couldn’t customize my regular sub to have half the sandwich without condiments. They told me I would have to buy a giant sub and not be cheap. Never going back here again.
