Jimmy Guana's Waterfront Restaurant

We stopped here for lunch after a lovely morning of boating. What a great place. Casual and fun. We ate on the open patio on the water, but they also have a roomy inside dining area. We loved our food. We had a Mahi sandwich, coconut shrimp, Guava bowl, and chicken with crabmeat special. Everything was amazing. Their fries are fabulous. Our waiter was helpful and fun. I had a dark cherry margarita that was so yummy. Highly recommended.

This fantastic restaurant sits between a holiday inn and a water park, which if you stay at either makes your stay that much better. They have a very good menu, serving breakfast until 11 followed by lunch/dinner. During my vacay we ate here probably 6 times. There are some real treats on the menu, like the hand made giant iguana shaped baked pretzel w/ beer cheese. Or the Tower app sampler. All the seafood I ate I thoroughly enjoyed. The burgers were outstanding. They have outside and inside seating, do yourself a solid if you in the Indian Rocks Area and check this place out.

== SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE == == MANAGER DIDN’T CARE == == Charged 40% TIP == Wedding party of 30 Service was horrible and we are sure it was because they applied a 20% mandatory tip Personally, have to wait until others were getting their food extremely late just to get a drink of a Coca-Cola Server with very rude and then brought out the second server, acting like the manager in the entire table of this stage don’t bring the attitude to us when you’re messing up the order and then one person ordered prizes that arise, and she brought a plate of fries back and slammed it on the table and your prize and brought me out a small picture of Coke and go there there’s your Coke. Others in our group complaint during our get together and after we got home about how that restaurant was horrible There

Had an amazing lunch! Walked up and was seated quickly! Server was great, and was every intuned. Food was amazing as well as the views! Will be back again! Had the mussels and some coconut shrimp 🦐

We have been to Jimmy Iquana in past years and it has always been good. This year however it has been aweful. Went there 2 nights ago and the hostess said she was told not to seat anyone for a hour and when that happened if we got served it would be at least one hour before we got food because they were short on kitchen and wait staff. We decided to go elsewhere. Tried to go there again tonight. The service was poor. It took forever to get our food and one meal was overcooked/overfried and the other was cold. Soup also came that was not hot but room temp. It was the worse serve and food we had in the 3 weeks we have been in Florida. I would not recommend this restaurant.
