Customer Reviews
First time here... Went for late lunch early dinner, not super busy but slightly on a Sunday. Got Mr Jim's combo and catfish plates with deviled eggs appetizer and two waters. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I just thought it was going to be kind of like a step up from fast food but everything was very well seasoned, those cheddar biscuits are everything!! That jalapeno sausage is absolutely delicious! Mac and cheese was very good and flavorful and I am very picky about my mac and cheese. They have Coke products to drink but also tea and lemonade. We did not order any dessert but I seen up at the front where you order when you walk in the door they had banana pudding, coconut cream pie and some other type of pie but I cannot remember the name. If I could just say one c
I’m from Pennsylvania and spend a lot of time on the road for work. Passing through Columbus, I was starving and about to stop at a Raising Cane’s when I noticed Jim ’N Nick’s next door and decided to give it a try. I’m really glad I did. The ribs were absolutely fantastic. Honestly, some of the best I’ve ever had. The brisket was flavorful and well done, the coleslaw was excellent, and the complimentary cornbread muffins were a great touch. After being on the road for a week and eating every meal out, this was easily the best meal I’d had all week. I even waved over the general manager to tell him so. I love to cook, so I’m pretty discerning when it comes to food and often find restaurant meals underwhelming. This one exceeded my expectations. My only minor complaint is that it felt a b
I’m from out of town let me say had the BBQ chicken and turkey, and let me just say… perfection. The BBQ chicken was juicy, tender, and seasoned all the way through not just on the outside. The sauce was rich, smoky, and slightly sweet without being overpowering. Every bite was flavorful and cooked just right, not dry at all. The smoked turkey was just as impressive. It was moist, sliced perfectly, and had that deep, slow-smoked flavor that melts in your mouth. You could taste the quality and care in how it was prepared. It wasn’t bland or dry like turkey can sometimes be it was seasoned beautifully and full of flavor. Pair that with their amazing customer service, and it made the whole experience even better. The staff was so kind, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. Hands do
his location is well on its way to becoming a local staple! The food was served hot and beautifully plated. I ordered the brisket with collard greens and mac and cheese, along with deviled eggs as an appetizer and banana pudding for dessert. The deviled eggs were velvety with a subtle smoky undertone. The marbled brisket was packed with flavor, carrying that unmistakable taste only a grill can deliver. Both the collards and mac and cheese were perfectly seasoned—no extra spices needed. The banana pudding struck the perfect balance of flavors and textures. But what truly stood out was the customer service—absolutely top tier! From the warm greeting at the door to the helpful counter staff and attentive servers, every interaction was amazing. The team worked seamlessly together—you couldn’t
This is solid BBQ, though they don't have Brunswick stew, which always feels like something is missing if a BBQ place in Georgia doesn't have it. They take your order at the counter but serve you at your table. If you dine in, you can get as many corn muffins as you want (at least if you get a plate like we did). My mother and I split a 3 meats and two sides with bread plate, which was plenty of food for us. The corn muffins were delicious and definitely worth getting.
