We love this place. Used to live locally and are now in VT. When we travel we use BDL as it is a nice sized airport and we know our way around. And we plan our trip around 2 visits to J & G. We dine in the day we arrive and get a take out grinder (the roast beef is amazing) for the trip home.

Had the large tuna salad platter, it was enough for two meals and my wife had the shrimp over angel hair pasta with a salad and fresh garlic bread. They were very reasonably priced and both were served with generous portions. The wait staff were very friendly and courteous.they also have great pizza and an extensive menu.

We have eaten here many times since moving to the area in 2022. Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of consistency. Sometimes the food is very good and sometimes it is not. Look over your take out items, before leaving the restaurant. The staff are all very nice and the service is excellent.
