Jet's Pizza

It was my weekend and I was enjoying a lazy afternoon, when all of a sudden I had a craving for pizza! The first thing that popped into my mind was Jet's of course! This is probably the best chain pizza in the entire country. Sure it's a little more expensive than others, but the quality is absolutely fantastic. I order takeout from this spot in Hammond regularly. This time I got a Detroit style deep dish with pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, onions and jalapenos. The crust and undercarriage were super crispy. The pepperoni and sausage juicy! The veggies all flavorful and great. The tomato sauce base had a wonderful freshness to it's flavor. Safe to say, I will be coming back for future visits.

UPDATE: I tried Jet's again since I saw a review of someone eating the 4 corner pizza and the CRUNCH I heard made me crave pizza. I did the order through TEXT message again and this time I did the 4 corner pizza with hamburger, mushroom and onion. It was GREAT - in fact, so much better than the last time. Cooked perfectly with a great crunch. I didn't realize you can also flavor your crust if you wish. I did the TURBO crust which was a mix of several seasonings and it's definitely recommended! I also ordered the medium size antipasta salad - which was okay. not the freshest salad, but it was full and definitely good for 2-3 people. Our recent order, a well-done Detroit-style pizza with generous toppings of pepperoni, Italian sausage, green peppers, and mushrooms, was flawlessly prepared The crust, with its soft interior and perfectly crisp, buttery edges, was truly remarkable. Furthermore, the staff's attentiveness was impressive; they proactively offered red pepper flakes and parmesan cheese. Alright, you guys, I just have to rave about this pizza place! 🍕 It's located just south of Chicago, and trust me, it's worth the trip. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the sauce had the best flavor, so good!🤤 I ordered a classic pepperoni, and it was absolutely amazing 💯 If you're ever in the area, make sure you give this place a try; you won't regret it!😋

I ordered two slices, and I was told they’d be ready in 5 minutes, but I ended up waiting for 30. This isn’t the first time, either. I used to get my pizzas on time, but lately I don’t know what’s going on. I used to love this place, but now I’m thinking of going somewhere else. They really need to figure out what the problem is. It used to be my favorite spot, but not anymore. While I was there, someone else’s order was also messed up. When he asked to speak to the manager, a guy came out who clearly had no idea what was happening. On top of that, the slices I got weren’t even fresh.
