Jessica's Restaurant

We went to dinner at Jessica's with our friends. We were seated in the best seats by the window far away from the rest room. This restaurant is rated really high because of the food. All dishes we ate were delicious and none of them disappointed. This is a BYOB restaurant but they do have a small selection of NJ wines if you forget to bring your bottle. We had a beet salad, meatballs and the Spanish grilled octopus. All of them were delicious. For our mains, we had Chilean sea bass special which was excellent, the red snapper - delicious and our vegetarian friend had a custom penne vodka with veggies which she said was extremely tasty. Can’t believe I’ve never written a Jessica’s review. It’s one of NJ best restaurants no doubt. It came from humble beginning in Plainfield and moved to Fanwood in 2024. The new location is beautiful and is definitely a more formal but not stuffy environment. The food is the standout. The octopus is always so tender and a favorite of ours. All the pastas are wonderful. Tonight I had the seafood fettuccine. My wife had scallops and they were super fresh and sweet. We didn’t get dessert tonight but the bread pudding is always amazing. It's for a reason Jessica's is considered among the top restaurants in Jersey. The ambiance, food, service are all top notch!! The garden salad was the freshest. The fried burrata outstanding. And the mushroom soup so homely. The ravioli was the best of the entrees and the creme brulee to finish off a sumptuous dinner was the perfect blend of sweetness and creaminess. 5/5 in everything.

Their food is always good. Have been going since it was a Cafe. The service is always on point and they are very knowledgable on the menu. The menu changes seasonally, and there are always different specials. I'd recommend anything on the menu that you're in the mood for. I really like the muscles, seafood pastas, creme brulee, steak, lamb chops, basically everything I've tried from here.

This is an absolutely amazing restaurant. Chef Armen is a true artist—his cuisine is incredibly creative and absolutely delicious. The team is attentive, welcoming, and makes the entire experience exceptional. Everything was perfect, far beyond our expectations.
