Jerusalem Restaurant

A cute little place near Downtown Denver. The staff was amazing. Food was great. Ambience was traditional. Our server Lisa was super sweet and helped us throughout, even suggesting us amazing desserts. Wouls definitely love to come again! 😀

⭐️⭐️⭐️½ – Honest Review for Jerusalem Restaurant We recently visited Jerusalem Restaurant and overall had a pleasant experience. The service was great — our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of. Most of the food was really enjoyable. The lentil soup, falafel, baba ganoush, and lamb entrée were all delicious and definitely worth recommending. Unfortunately, the chicken kabob entrée was a big miss — it was very dry and lacked flavor. We actually couldn’t finish it, which is rare for us because we usually hate leaving food behind. As for dessert, we tried the chocolate and pistachio bird’s nest, but it wasn’t something we’d recommend — it didn’t match the quality of the rest of the meal. To start off the guy at the front was nice so I will give him that. There was a photo of “sheesh ta’ouk” on screen and he said that it was better than the chicken kabob plate (which i usually get from here) eager to try something new, I ordered it. It did not look anything like the photo what so ever. The photo had green beans, sliced peppers, lemon, etc. Not what I received, as you can see in the pictures it’s. Chicken, pepper sludgelike entree. I went up to let him know that it was not good and not by the picture and when I ordered a chicken kebab entree, I was charged for that entree as well. Upon receiving that entree, it was just OK. Used to come here often. Clearly changes have been made, not good ones. And customer service is lacking. Won’t be returning would appreciate a refund but

We work late night in a busy OR at a local hospital. My charge nurse was craving a gyros sandwich. We found Jerusalem Restaurant and ordered. We ordered the lamb with fries. It was delicious! The meat was SO tender! The flavor was spot on. I would recommend they put more sauce on, or add a small side so the customer can add more. The onions, green peppers, crisp lettuce and super tender meat made for an exceptional sandwich. I am going to recommend this restaurant to our secretary for a team catering! I highly recommend Jerusalem Restaurant!
