Jerseytown Tavern

We had amazing food and the friendliest people! We had a big trailer with us and had someone come outside to make sure we were okay and help us get parked in the most efficient spot for everyone. Our waitress was the sweetest person! My burger was huge and incredible, my husband seafood Mac and cheese was great! And the kids chicken tender meal was huge! Could not have asked for a better experience.

We’ve been to Jerseytown several times to dine in and have never been disappointed. The wait staff has always been very kind and efficient. Our food has always been top notch. Tonight we got dinners to go and they also did not disappoint. If you stop in make sure to try the pork nachos as they are my absolute favorite! We also had chicken Alfredo (delicious) loaded Mac and cheese (amazing), wings (so good!), and a steak salad (perfect). I was in and out without waiting and my food was still hot when I got it home to eat. Well done Jerseytown!

We took the road less traveled from VT to VA and came across this gem! The food was incredible, generous servings, service was impeccable, and the decor is nostalgic. In my book, it's perfection! I had their loaded Mac n cheese, which has options - I chose to load it with pulled pork - pickled beets, and coleslaw. I am very picky about my coleslaw. It not only passed the test, it aced it! We will DEFINITELY be back whenever we're in town and will have to say "Hi" to Terry again. 😊

Took my son to see the reindeer they were advertising for Christmas. After that we decided to go inside and eat. We ordered the crab dip for an app, when it came out 45 minutes later, it was cold, and the chips with it were so soaked in fryer oil you could literally squeeze it out like a sponge. The same thing with my sons fries. Oil sponges. When the dinner finally came out the mac and cheese was cold, the shrimp alfredo also was noticed by the waitress to have the shrimp forgotten about, which was also cold. And I ordered a cup of soup, which was also forgotten about. My sons hockey puck burger was cold. After sitting from 645 to 845 with my 4 year old, I said nevermind the shrimp. Give me boxes and we are leaving. This was absolutely a horrible expierence and we will never be back here.

We will definitely be stopping here more often going forward! This place has that old school bar charm, classic music on, friendly people to chat with, frosted mugs with cold beer. The food was really tasty too! Great place to stop in the middle of the week to get away from home.
