Jersey Mike's Subs

First things first. Excellent sandwich. I stopped here for a quick lunch on a Sunday. The staff behind the counter were head-down busy. There were at least ten online orders being fulfilled and the back of the house was working hard doing their part. In the midst of this a very pleasant young lady acknowledged my presence and said that someone would soon take my order. In a second a young man who suggested I try a hot sub today- I chose the Original which I always do, and Mike’s Way at that. Why mess with perfection? The entire staff was noticeably young- like High School age, but they worked well and my order was crafted and delivered faster than you can say “extra onions” Delicious. I was totally anticipating this place on Kent Island and couldn't wait to try them. The first thing that kind of was a bit of a shock was the prices,.I honestly had never heard of a sub over $20,.but anyway I was there and very hungry so I ordered the cheese steak. The guy at the counter asked if I wanted the onions grilled and I was like, "sure". He right away handed the order to the cook and they started to make my sub. I was kind of surprised he didn't ask what I wanted on it before handing over the order and jumping to the next person in line. I assumed that they cooked them up first and then ask what you want in it, ala Subway. So I kind of lingered in front of the toppings waiting. Got here around 8:40, was kinda skeptical because I knew they were about to close. We were greeted by Greg who was soooo enthusiastic and nice !!! Great attitude and great service will definitely be back! Thanks for making our night:)

Unprofessional Environment, Felt very judgmental. Got both of my orders wrong. I ordered a cheesesteak with no onions and they gave me a chicken cheesesteak with a lot of peppers, will not be returning.

Great addition to the island! Greg is a solid guy and runs a clean and much welcomed restaurant! The staff rocks also!
