Updated Review I recommended this place to my family for dinner and we were disappointed. We ordered a variety from the menu and overall it was lacking flavor. We also received servings of rice & peas disproportionate to the amount of meat given. We spoke to the owner and he took accountability. He said he had new staff, and that he was willing to remake the order. We allowed him to remake the order and although we appreciated his service, the experience was the same. Little meat, and a lot of carbs. For the price, I likely will not support this food truck again. I will say that Chef Brownman was not there on either of the following occasions. The jerk chicken is very good—Smokey, not too spicey. However…the portion was way too small, the rice n peas were not done (both crunchy), the gravy was bland, the coco bread was store-bought and no cabbage or wings. I paid $20 for this (see pic). Really?! Hopefully this was just an off day because I’ve heard good things. But I was not pleased. Sad because the guy who served me was really sweet. Unless someone can convince me otherwise, I won’t go back.

Went for some jerk chicken and was NOT disappointed. The people working were extremely nice and welcoming, the food came pretty quick, they added a container of amazing chicken stock, and the price was fair. Absolutely plan to come again!

I’ve tried Jamaican food around this area and I really don’t like it. When I do want Jamaican food I drive to PG county. I tried their food and now I don’t have to drive to PG. I love their oxtail. My 3 year old loved the beef patty and didn’t want to share. I also got the cucumber ginger drink and it’s delicious. I recommend this food truck. They are also very friendly

I had a beef patty, coco bread, jerk chicken meal and the oxtail. Everything was AWESOME!!!! Staff is extremely friendly and drinks were ice cold. Definitely recommend this spot!!!
