Jerk An Tingz

Today was my birthday, and my partner asked me what I wanted for my birthday lunch. I told her I wanted to finally try Jerk An Tingz. Well, ladies and gentlemen—the wait was well worth it, and I’ll definitely be coming back many times. This was the best meal I’ve had in ages, and you can truly taste that it was made with love. I got the jerk chicken meal, which came with coconut rice, cabbage, and fried plantains. My partner got the curry and jerk chicken combo, which also came with coconut rice, cabbage, and fried plantains. My favorite was the jerk chicken; hers was the curry chicken. The rice was cooked perfectly, and while neither of us are usually plantain lovers, we found that when eaten together, the combo was a symphony of flavor. Its a food truck but there are benches available. The service and food is great. I do wish he had lower priced items available. Expect to spend about $30 per person. Some dishes that didn't involve bones would be nice so I could just dig in. Other than that I highly recommend this food truck. Food will be hot,fresh and full of flavor!

Everything tasted fine. The rice in Curry Chicken needed more sauce. Bananas were my least favorite item. $25 for this oxtail plate seems steep. $15 for the Curry Chicken. Glad I tried it but unlikely to return.

Delicious! Wow, ordered the curry goat (this may be a ‘special’ rather than on the regular menu)…but probably some of the best I have ever tasted. Wasn’t expecting that! I have been meaning to give them a try, and certainly glad I did!

Coming back here to edit my review to 5 stars. Oxtail was excellent as always. Plantains and veggies are really good too. My phone order was happily taken and food was fresh and ready to pick up. Im grateful to have Jerk N thingz in our area
