Jeremiah's Ice of Ridge Rd - Douglasville

The Italian Ice is great. Tonight we decided to get one of the ice cream concoctions. It isn't ice cream. It tasted like the dairy deserts that cannot be legally called ice cream. It was like crunchy flavored dairy dessert. Definitely not ok for the price. We will stick with the Italian ice.

A few weeks ago the owner of this establishment asked me a few probing questions about their products. I did not know much so she gave us two samples; ice cream and a cookie sandwich. We tossed them in the freezer and forgot about them. My son had the sandwich last Friday and raved about the great taste. Today I came across this little tub of ice cream she said they used to create their cakes. I tasted it and WOW. I will be ordering one of their cakes soon. I am surprised that Jerrmiahs would have a chocolate ice cream this good. I am impressed, yet, I considered taking a star away because the after taste had an effect similar to condensed milk. The chocolate got a solid 80% on my cocoa taste scale. I assure you, I know chocolate... This is not at the level of our local Taste of Heaven

Always fresh, can be busy, but the staff is always willing to let you try a flavor or recommend flavors. Ton of options, so finding something you like isn't too hard. They also have really great soft serve ice cream. Cool local shop.

Jeremiah’s has to be my new favorite spot in town. It’s a literal GEM and the staff is excellent. Especially the sweet young cashier Sarah. I went in with the idea I’d just be supporting a new local business, but am leaving a forever customer. Dairy Queen is nice, but me and my family love Jeremiah’s after only 1 visit. The Strawberry shortcake will be my go to for cheat days. I wish I could give them 10 stars as my experience was just that good.

We went on the day of their opening, and it was delicious! The staff were so kind! I wanted to share a review in case you think Italian ice is strange mixed with soft serve. I thought that was an odd combination. It’s DELICIOUS! 🤤 much better than I expected!
