Jennings & Co. BBQ

Frankly, my stomach is starting to question my life choices. But then we rolled up to Jennings BBQ in Montgomery, a food truck that’s a Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ award winner, and my tummy and I made peace. The brisket was excellent—nicely cooked, very tender, and full of great flavor with a nice, clean bark. They did a fantastic job with it. The pulled pork was another highlight. It was incredibly juicy with a perfect flavor profile, and the amount of sauce and spice was just right. The ribs were also delicious—a flavorful spare rib with a perfect pull from the bone. For the sides, the cornbread casserole was a hit. It had a wonderful consistency, balancing the corn and the breading perfectly. Just dropped but there few mins ago... First time trying. I must say, the brisket sandwiches are so good and so are the sides. They even have complimentary beers while you wait.

My wife and I traveled from Waco for lunch and was blown away by not only the amazing food but by the way we were treated. Amazing brisket, amazing ribs, amazing sausage, amazing pulled pork and exceptional chicken. Don’t sleep on the sides either, the corn casserole, the fried cabbage and Mac n cheese was absolutely delicious…. There is a reason these guys are on the Texas Monthly Top 50 list. If you haven’t eaten here, give it a go, you won’t be disappointed!!!!

Easily the best bbq I've ever had The brisket melts in your mouth and has a wonderful flavor. The sausage is fantastic. The cowboy beans are different and delicious as well as the potato salad which really could not be better

No going wrong with your stop here. Great brisket, and turkey. All of it moist with seasonings that don't overpower the taste of the meat. Sausage is snappy and just a little smoky. The fried cabbage tastes homemade and fresh. The corn casserole is also a great side that would also make a great dessert. I saved it for last. Give these two guys some business, they are working hard to put out some great que.
