Jemez Springs Public Library

I loved roaming the shelves of this library! For a library that looked small, it was big in service (friendly librarian in front) and had lots of items to check out (children to adult books, DVDs and more). If you want to own the books you read, the Book Barn in back had lots of used books to buy at reasonable prices. I think buying them is on the honor system. When I first walked in, no one was inside. When I returned with Husband and our niece, someone was inside - we think she was a customer. A sign said to bring books to the front. Outside and inside, several places were available to sit and read. Also behind the library was flowing hot springs, with places to sit nearby, after dipping one’s hand in the springs. Be careful though. It’s hot! Safer to sit & read!

This place is a tiny and wonderful gem! They have a lot of books, they offer a ton of events. I am excited to live close enough that my kids will be able to participate. The people that work here are friendly. And there is a small book barn to buy stuff in the back.

Great little library. Lot's of material for check out. Great staff and friendly.

I don't spend much time in paper libraries, but the few times I have stopped by the staff has been so great that I felt I should leave a review!
