Jelly Donut

I just wanna say this place is amazing. I feel like they’re part of my family ever since I moved up here to San FRANCISCO for work away from my family just to walk in and smell the delicious donuts and see the smile on her face and see the Jolly donut maker 49er fan. Enjoy what he does. They make my day every day, so please support mom and Pops donut places there is the best donut shop in San Francisco FRANCISCO, hands-down

The owner is fabulous and super helpful. I just couldn’t decide (too many great options!) and she helped me figure out to walk out with. Best donut that I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back. Edited: I didn’t read any reviews before leaving this one but realized a lot of people mentioned the cash only. She has plenty of digital options so we just Venmo’d. I believe she’s cash only after 3 but during the day if you have cash app or anything else like that you’re going to be fine.

This is my favourite place to come in the morning on my way out of the city. It’s insanely affordable, the coffee station is no-frills but just what you need, the donuts are fun and absolutely delicious, and the people are 10/10. They’re kind, funny, generous people and this donut shop is a total vibe. Even if it’s out of your way you should head to the Mission.

Okay, here’s the qualification to my review, I like traditional doughnuts. The fancy $7 a pop doughnuts, trying to be something else just irritate me. That said, Jelly Donut is my new favorite doughnut place in all of California. Primo’s down in LA… excellent. Bob’s in SF is excellent, except when it isn’t. And yes, I’ve tried so, so, so many doughnut places across North America. But Jelly Donut is my new fav. Why? Jelly Donut doughnuts are crunchy on the outside, soft, flavorful, and light on the inside. They’ve got all the standard kind of doughnuts, and a few slight variations like a guava jelly doughnut (outstanding). And… they’re also inexpensive, to the point you’ll think you’ve been under charged. What a gem of a place!
