Jefferson Davis Parish McBurney Memorial Library

They let me chill there during the heat of the day and didn't bother me about bringing my hand cart inside. I was able to record and edit a video while there. Oh, and they have coffee dude that is pretty cool. I've never seen that at a library.

Friendly people work here! My mom needed copies. The young woman working the desk made them for her. So nice! There was a shelf with free books that people could take, and another one with free magazines. We too some free magazines home. It's a cozy little library. I like it.

I will surely make it a point to NEVER step foot in the Welsh library again! Libraries used to be a quiet place where people could go to study, do research, and CONCENTRATE! Not in Welsh... Every hour at the Welsh library is GOSSIP HOUR! Where friends meet up to laugh, chat, and be as loud as possible! What ever happened to librarians who'd say things like "SSSHHHHHHHH" when they heard someone making noise? Boy, those were the days, weren't they?.. Too bad the librarian in Welsh is just as loud and distracting as everyone else. Lol..
