I don't give reviews on restaurants but I feel compelled to share my experience with Jean's Kitchen... my favorite food by far is oxtail, but I don't eat it that often that is until recently. The chef affectionately called "mama" knows her way around the kitchen like nobody's business. She, by far cooks the best oxtail in Miami and if you eat oxtail then you know that NOT anyone can cook oxtail, mama has perfected it. Along with oxtail the menu is loaded with Caribbean specialities like Curry Goat & Chicken, fish, Peas & Rice, Baked Macaroni, coleslaw and the homemade soup is to die for. I can go on about how good the food and won't do it justice, you have to try it yourself to experience the truly authentic Caribbean dishes.
