Welll, after driving by 4 times debating on stopping because of the good reviews or passing because of the lack of cars in the drive ... ( I should have passed ) walking in, the decor is awesome .. had high hopes . greeted happily and found us a seat .. waitress was prompt professional and friendly.. took our drink order ( water tea with lemon) No lemons today was going to order the lunch special at 12:00 ( but it was unavailable ) so we opted for: chicken/rib combo with green bean and cole slaws ( i'm not a smoke chicken guy because almost no once can smoke chicken and keep it moist ) this was no difference . Wife chicken was dry and lacking seasoning for my taste. Ribs ? tender but flavorless .. I hate to have to dip ribs in bbq sauce :( green beans good ! cole slaw

Jeanne’s Bourbon Street BBQ was somewhere we decided to try out on a recent Lake Charles excursion. There’s definitely a distinctly blue collar vibe when you walk into this restaurant at lunch on a weekday but other than a few bemused looks from the clientele, the visit was a positive one. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful. The interior is decorated in memorabilia from Winchester (the rifle company). It could almost double as a museum with all of the neat stuff they had on the walls. I don’t know what the connection to them and the restaurant is but I thought it gave the place a really cool and distinctive personality. The food was somewhat hit or miss. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and felt it to be out of this world. The pork was rich and tender and melted in my mouth. Th

The food was good. The service was good. Unfortunately, didn't have a bartender this night. The server stepped it up and she did what she could. I commend her for taking on the extra workload. The Winchester memorabilia is amazing. It was one of the best collections I have ever seen. It is well worth stopping in. This is 5 stars all the way. Do yourself a favor and stop in.

So we were looking for a nice BBQ spot and boy were we in for a treat today. After searching google we find Jeanne’s BBQ. We check the menu and pricing and everything was amazing until we show up and pick up our order. They told us over the phone that the order would be ready in a few minutes we asked for a specific time and they responded “not long”. After a 15 minute drive we arrive and the nachos are not ready. Along with that the pricing was way off of what we expected. It's was my first time here, so I decided to just order brisket quesadillas with onions and peppers... OMG THE BEST quesadillas ever!!
