JD's Old Fashioned Frozen Custard

It's the 4th and decided to go out for dessert. Had the caramel apple collision. A scoop of vanilla custard with spiced apple topping, pie crust pieces, caramel topping and finished with a homemade waffle stick dipped in caramel. What a treat. It hit the spot. The service was quick, the line wasn't long, the server was very pleasant and the price was very reasonable. If you love apple and caramel, this is for you. If you love apple pie, you will be in heaven. Great combination. And it's right in Englewood not that far from the local Kroger. Check them out. It's your summer rescue.

This place deserves 100/10 stars 🌟🤩 I have a gluten and corn allergy, and they DO NOT use either in their ice cream! So fresh and thick!! Brought me to tears to be able to eat ice cream again 🥹 The ladies are so sweet and the manager seems like a great owner! Love their fashionable cow theme too! Definitely a must stop if in town or worth the drive!!

A nice frozen custard place. I like the lemon option for frozen custard beyond just the normal chocolate and vanilla with a special. The custard is pretty creamy with just a slight iciness to it. It prefer Whit's frozen custard, but it is still pretty good. It has a nice place to sit in front of the building or inside. They have bathrooms as well. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here but if you are near Englewood then it is a good stop. Prices are pretty fair here as it was $3.25 for a single scoop and $4.25 for floats or $4.50 for a shake.

Dr. J and missy recommended this ice cream parlor and we made the trip! My wife and I shared a large hot fudge sundae with vanilla ice cream. It was creamy and delicious like grandpa s ice cream of old. My grandson got a "trash can" and he loved it! My next trip i would love to try there lemon ice cream:)

Tldr: this place is well priced, SUPER tasty, friendly, kind, and quick! Love the vibe and the amount of seating is a LOT and its well maintained too. Indoor and outdoor seating and they have perfectly priced .50 dog ice cream treats! Will absolutely returning.
