It's a very casual lunch spot. The place doesn't look fancy but the food is well worth it. Get the burger with grilled onion, it is very good. The French fries is the best in town. It's very creamy and has a crispy exterior that isn't overly thick. It's well worth the drive out there from the main town. Don't get it through food delivery service, as the quality would likely degrade sitting in a bag for 30 minutes.

A classic burger from a hidden gem. I remember eating here 40 years ago (it was Buns back then). They are still cranking out the good stuff at this legendary Lafayette burger joint.

Its a quiet mom and pop restaurant! Be aware that they only accept cash! Edit: I keep coming back! This place is delicious and my favorite week day lunch date spot with the hubby! Menu has changed a little bit over the year so here's a photo! Edit: Still coming back a couple years later! Absolutely love this place! The two ladies running the place are absolutely as nice as ever. I saw some comments about them being racist and that couldn't be further from the truth. They have welcomed me and my husband and made us feel right at home every time we come (i am hispanic and my husband is african american). And there have been several other people of color enjoying themselves at this establishment on the multiple occasions I've been here. They did recently get rid of the hot dogs on the menu

Loved coming here with my husband! We felt incredibly welcomed by the staff. The place has an old timey feel to it and is very small. This restaurant is run by two women and they are incredibly fast and efficient! They had lots of people coming and going They are only open 10 am - 2 pm on week days, and they only take cash. The food was incredibly delicious. I had a double cheese burger and my husband had the hamburger steak. we each loved the food so much! I think this is gonna be our new lunch spot!
