Jay's Local

This is one of my favorite cafe's in the Lehigh Valley. There is such a nice atmosphere as you walk in. It is perfect for a quick stop, to meet up with friends, or studying. The food smells amazing and tastes even better. Staff is so kind every time i go. Always such a variety of food and specialty drinks. I have also done a few pop-ups there. They are always super accommodating and quick to answer. This is definitely a place that cares about community. There are often many pop-ups held here weekly. They also do a children's story time that is really cute to see and always a big hit. If you want to go to a cafe in the area, this is the place to go and worth any drive. Definitely give it a try if you are close by and you wont stop thinking about it after you leave.

I have come to this coffee shop and always loved it. It is in a great location, right by Muhlenberg College. It has a charming interior. There is a large menu selection with seasonal items and coffees. On this visit, I had an iced shaken espresso. It was so good. When in Allentown, you should always stop here for coffee.

I felt like I was in a tv show where community comes with your hot beverage. I felt welcomed into this coffee place. I ordered a Portuguese tart and decaf pumpkin latte, so delicious. I was meeting with someone and there was a kid’s storytime and it was blue zone and in Spanish. There was benches for kids and an area for them. I wish I had this place when my kids were younger. I enjoyed the Mediterranean wrap with chips.

Jay’s local offers a few vegetarian and vegan options. You just have to ask. We were out this way to take care of some business. Decided to google local places and came across Jay’s local. This is a very pretty place in a nice area near the Allentown Whitehall area. And sits very close to Muhlenberg College. What a great atmosphere on the inside and outside, the outside they have a great seating area with a huge sidewalk and within that sidewalk, they have cut outs of nice manicured grass where you'll find seating, on the inside not only do they have seating like regular restaurant style down the center, off to the sides they have really nice couches and stand a load seats and this is a very inviting for whatever you may have to do either to enjoy lunch, to have a meeting or to do studyin

The vibe of this place was great! Everyone was so friendly and the food was good too. If you want to grab a good breakfast/lunch at a chill place in Allentown, this is it. They also have some local made sauce that i couldn't resist and the ginger garlic was next level. Please give this place a visit.
