Jay’s Kitchen has some really good vegetarian options, and the flavors are generally satisfying. The dishes taste fresh, and you can tell they put effort into seasoning and presentation. A few items could use a bit more consistency, but overall it’s a nice spot when you’re craving homestyle vegetarian food in Tampa. Worth trying if you’re in the area.

I had ordered catering from this place in the past and loved the food, but this was my first time visiting in person. The ambience was very warm and welcoming, and the restaurant was clean and well maintained. The staff was super friendly and attentive. What truly stole the show was the food — absolutely delicious! Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and home-style without being overly oily. Portions were also very generous. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!

I had the double egg fried rice! It was amazing.. all the flavors went well together. I definitely will be back to try more of the menu.

I recently ordered catering from Jay’s Kitchen for our gender‑reveal event, and they absolutely exceeded every expectation. We ordered a full tray of Gobi Manchuria, Veg Dum Biryani, Chili Chicken, Vijayawada Chicken 65 Biryani, along with half‑tray Gutti Vankaya Curry and medium Kaju Paneer Masala. Every single dish was prepared with excellent taste, perfect spice levels, and generous quantities exactly as promised. The food quality was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Our guests kept asking where we ordered from because they loved every item. It truly made our event special. The service from Jay’s Kitchen was just as impressive. Hidden spot, the food was fire an tasty. The service could have been better. They didn’t have printed menus and they weren’t photos on food for ordering kiosk. Wished the had naan for the curries, But overall the food was very very good.
