First time eating here. Did not have to wait to be seated for an early dinner. Madison was our server and she was outstanding. She was attentive and very honest about the menu especially in regard to the level of spice. We ordered shrimp tempura as an appetizer which was excellent. My husband ordered the bibimbap with the spicy kimchi on the side which was very spicy (thanks Madison for suggesting it on the side). I ordered the Crack chicken which was also very good, a little more spicy than I expected but the yum yum sauce calmed it some. My only disappointment was the fried rice which was a little mushy. We will definitely be back.

Great Sushi and salmon with veggies and waffle fries, shrimp shewers... The new shrimp and corn chowder was too sweet for my taste. The salad was very fresh and ginger dressing was on point this time. Last time, it was spoiled, so always recognize the true taste because it's very good. Personally, I would have preferred it not be sweet, so I could better taste the shrimp and corn...salt, pepper and garlic would have been great to add to cut sweetness possibly from sweet corn, cream or other additives. Our 1st time having fried oreos, very sweet, but tasty. I would suggest limiting whip cream or use a lite whip since chocolate swirls were also added. the staff can't be held responsible - they're just doing the job they were hired for and they do it well. a shame the restaurant steals their tips. anyway, nice atmosphere and decor. Bulgogi Fries not bad. but goodness gracious what on earth is this excuse for "ramen". visually, spot on. but the taste could not be further from reality. 豚骨 (tonkatsu) is pork bone, but tell me how the only thing I can taste is fish, and horrible fish at that? ramen does traditionally have a bit of dried fish, but there shouldn't be a fishy taste at all. pork should be the dominant taste and yet it's nowhere to be found. no idea how the chashu was seasoned but it was no better. this is the people of Goldsboro's only option for Japanese ramen, as Narita serves Korean rameyun and Nai Thai sells a Thai variation

Wait time wasn’t that long for a weekend. Great customer service. Sushi was good and affordable. Everything we had was delicious. Only wish we had more table space. We ordered lots of food for two people and the table were we sat at was too small. The food was well seasoned. Definitely recommend this place ! ❤️❤️

I LOVED everything about Jay’s Kitchen! Highly recommended! They have the bulgogi on lock! I had the bulgogi wrap which was AMAZING! And I also had the crack chicken, a must have for sure. Pink lemonade was my beverage of choice with my meal and my dessert was a delish chocolate martini. Hubby had sushi and said it smashed! We even tried the bulgogi fries, 10’s across the board!!! We went on a Sunday around 3:30pm and it was not packed at all and the service was great! Ashley was very attentive. We will definitely be back soon!
