Must try place in buffalo!! The pizza is pretty good! Don’t expect it to be as good as new york or chicago pizza but it’s pretty good for buffalo! My favorite would be the detroit style pepperoni pizza just because it had a nice crunch and fluffiness to it plus it was full of flavor. Then i’d say would come the nduja followed by the corn and chillis then the margherita. The last two just lacked some flavor for me. The line does get long and they’re not open for that long so make sure you plan accordingly. I’d say it was worth the wait. Definitely check it out if you’re nearby. Would come back again!

This pizza is the best I’ve had in a long time. The pesto pizza had fresh mozzarella and tomatoes (a treat!) and was served piping hot. The crust was well done, but I can’t think of many people who would call it thin. The bacon and sprout pizza was also really nicely done. Either of those pizzas could have fed two people who weren’t giant pigs. All around great experience.

The restaurant is a small cozy spot with about 10 tables that gives off a warm and welcoming vibe. We came around 5pm on a Saturday and the place was buzzing with energy. Parking is on the street and we waited about 30 minutes for a table of 2 - well worth it. The salad portion was surprisingly generous and packed with flavor. We tried both the Neapolitan and Square pizzas and they were absolutely delicious- perfectly balanced and fresh. The service was excellent- friendly and attentive which made the experience even better. Didn’t get to try their Tiramisu - sold out! Because of the limited space, I wouldn’t recommend bringing a large party - four people max feels just right. Overall, it was perfect setting for a casual date with incredible pizzas. Highly recommend!

Been wanting to try this place because of the hype of best pizza in the world !! Got take out and the pizzas were good, very nice flavor BUT I wish we ate them there. I think this is a food that is best eaten straight from the oven. We got the hot cherry Detroit pizza, Nduja, and prosciutto arugula. They each had entirely different and satisfying flavor profiles between the cheese and toppings. All on a base of perfectly cooked dough that held its own against the bold toppings! Delicious but definitely eat there!!

I read that Jay’s is known worldwide. My husband loves this type of pizza and we love trying new places. From what we were told, it’s sort of impossible to get a table, even right if you’re there at 4pm, when they open. We figured we would order take out and drive the 1 hour, round trip, from the Southtowns. If the pizza is great, we didn’t mind spending $42.75 on these smaller size pizza’s. Wrong call on our end. We ordered a margherita and a pepperoni. Margherita was sloppy in the middle. They don’t cut the pizza “to keep the integrity of the dough”. We warmed it up as the box advises but we were underwhelmed. The pepperoni pizza was burned. Did we get a bad batch? Is it better to eat at the restaurant when it’s fresh, out of the oven?
