Super delicious food Filipino- made fresh and home made. My wife is from manila and she said this was excellent- way above any other Filipino foods we’ve tried in the east coast. Sisig was tasty and had a good crunchiness to it from the chicharrón. Chicken inasal was full of flavor and perfectly charred in the right places. Great cheesy fries. Avocado ice cream was delicious. Big portions, too
I wish I lived closer, and I'd probably be here at least 2x a week. Grilled liempo was perfect, and the chopsuey was great. The veggies had a good crunch, not overcooked. I ordered the tray of chopsuey before it was overcooked. I guess it's better to eat at the restaurant. The sizzling bistek was different this time. The meat was like pot roast. It was good but not what I expected. And we got our usual: inihaw na tenga, lumpia shanghai, chicken skins, and grilled chicken. Service was friendly. It's better to pay cash if you can, they charge about 4% extra when paying with credit card.
Closest thing you can get to Mang Inasal in NJ! Price was $10.95 for Bacolod Chicken that comes with java rice and Atchara (pickled papaya). They have a specific time for their Bacolod Chicken as they marinate it, they started serving it at 5pm. Their pork sisig and tofu sisig wasn't that good, its okay. The place is kinda small and the service is a bit slow since they get a lot of takeouts. NO PARKING! Only street parking which is very hard to find.
I’m having a hard time writing this review because I have no words. The food was SO good. I ordered the pork sisig and let me tell you something.. I’m Puerto Rican so I’m used to eating good pork shoulder or chicharrón. THAT was crunchy moist goodness in every single bite and then they had a sauce in top that gave it some sweetness… sweet baby jesus. Nothing else to say on that. My boyfriend had the fish and he said it was charred to perfection, texture was amazing, and tasted very fresh and light. He loved it. We also tried the waitresses recommendation of appetizer, Kwek Kwek - delicious! Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT sleep on this local comforting spot. THANK YOU JAYHAN!
First time here. Didn't know what to order, so i looked at pics people posted and got what looked good. Food took almost 45 minutes to come out, but it was pretty good. Service is pretty non-existent unless they taking your order or dropping off your food. I would love to try more of the food here though. Just have to have lots of free time.
