Customer Reviews
We visited this restaurant as a family and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment you arrive, everything feels thoughtfully designed — the entrance, the surrounding area, the flow of the space. The atmosphere is elegant, refined, and almost cinematic. What we especially loved is how smoothly the evening transitions from a restaurant setting into a more vibrant bar and nightlife mood — very natural, very well done. The service was impeccable: attentive, polished, and genuinely warm. The wine list deserves special praise — extensive, well-curated, and clearly chosen with care. There is a strong sense of sophistication throughout the entire experience, almost with a subtle French flair. As for the food — almost everything was absolutely delicious. The meats, the steak, the salads
Came for Sunday brunch , got a great Table by the water . Our server Annie was sweet and showed us around the buffet . Espresso martini bar was awesome drinks were strong . Overall food was good there were a few things that missed the mark but a large variety so understandable. Great jazz band and relaxing ambiance. Buffet gets crowded and lines form after 1pm it seems . I took one star away because they give you a two hour limit , but after about an hour and 30 minutes the server came to let us know our time was up . We payed the bill and was trying to finish our drink when a manger came up and once again told us they needed the table which I found very tacky when you have a 400$ bill , also Valet is 35$ which is kinda over priced for a few hours . Overall I was pleased and will be back b
One star due to unnecessary insistence that I give them my phone number in order to be seated. I was a walk-in with no reservation and they had a table available immediately. When they asked for my phone number, I politely said no. They then insisted that I had to give it to them in order to make my "reservation". I pointed out that I didn't need a reservation, since I was already there and they had a table available. They continued to make attempts to justify why I had to provide a phone number to be seated. I pointed out that I'm here to pay money in exchange for food, and not to give up my privacy unnecessarily. For clarity, at good restaurants with properly trained staff, the exchange goes line this: "May I have your phone number?" "No." "That's fine, let me show you to your table."
Breakfast at Jaya at The Setai is nothing short of extraordinary. The caviar breakfast buffet is an indulgent, beautifully curated experience that elevates the idea of a morning meal into something truly memorable. From the impeccable quality of the caviar and accompaniments to the refined presentation of every dish, everything reflects luxury, precision, and taste. The atmosphere is elegant yet calm—perfectly aligned with the serene sophistication of The Setai. Every detail feels intentional, from the table settings to the pacing of service, making the experience feel relaxed rather than rushed. A special thank you goes to our server, Leticia, who made the morning flawless. She was attentive, warm, and incredibly knowledgeable—anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Her profes
The Setai’s Sunday Jazz Brunch is a Miami icon for a reason. It’s an elegant, all-you-can-eat feast paired with live jazz and bottomless Louis Roederer Champagne. The Highlights: A massive raw bar, Peking duck, and an incredible dessert station. The Setting: Dining in the sun-drenched Zen courtyard is pure paradise. The Verdict: It’s pricey, but for the world-class variety and the breezy, sophisticated atmosphere, it’s the best Sunday treat in the city.
