Javelina Dining Hall

I’ve consistently had a disappointing experience here. The portion sizes are noticeably small, and whenever someone asks for a little more food, the staff tends to stare or make it uncomfortable. It makes you feel like you’re doing something wrong for simply wanting a reasonable serving. The dining policies also don’t make much sense. If you get a to-go box, you’re apparently not allowed to eat inside the dining hall — even though you’ve already paid for the meal. When I was told I couldn’t eat there with my to-go plate, I explained that I had paid for it, and the response I received was, “It doesn’t matter, you can’t eat here.” That interaction felt unnecessary and dismissive. On top of that, the food quality is inconsistent. Sometimes it’s undercooked, and it’s often poorly seasoned. F

I have been wanting to stop by. Today with Preview days @ TAMUK, I really enjoyed their food. The only downside is no sweet tea. Other than that, AWESOME EXPERIENCE

Who designed this building? This building has two meeting rooms upstairs but the only restroom is down stairs and toward the back of the building. It must have been designed by a MAN!
