Hate to give this place a bad review because I’ve been here multiple times and the food is always good. Hair in my food is a good enough reason for a bad review. That should never happen. First thing I saw when I opened the box for my wrap was this.

Came in here for lunch one afternoon as we were in the area shopping on Saturday. I’ve been here several times before being from the Midwest and this franchise originating in Texas. It’s always good to go to a deli and have a smorgasbord of options to choose from no matter what your taste is. I usually go for the ham muffaletta, but this time the new spicy Sicilian sub caught my eye. This was absolutely amazing and a good size for one person and spicy, but not over the top that makes you miserable eating it. My wife got the bigger better BLT, which is her old standby favorite. It’s a great sandwich that can’t get any better having bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado and fried egg. The all you can eat salad bar is legendary as well if your in the mood for a light meal. Jason's Deli is always a great place to eat. After physical therapy at the VA Clinic in Hickory my wife & I always grab a late lunch or early dinner. The lunch hour is over & we immediately get served. Food is wonderful with a great selection of assorted dishes. We are never disappointed & the self serve ice cream is fantastic.

Sweetest and most helpful and friendly staff ever! They went out of their way to make sure we plus everyone else in the restaurant enjoyed a very pleasant dining experience. It’s super clean inside. Food was prepared correctly, served at the right temperature and tasted great! The menu provides a huge variety of options. The salad bar is excellent- stocked up, super fresh offerings on it and lots and lots of choices to make your salad great. Plus there’s plenty of cracker choices too and mini muffins, lots of salad dressings and condiments as well. There are plenty of seating choices too. This is one of the best places to eat in Hickory!

Food is pretty standard. It's like Panera. The soups we got were good. The salad bar was stocked and seemed fresh. The service was poor however. The one cashier was rude and inpatient. When we wanted to buy another item we actually waited until she got off the register and someone else replaced her. She was really that unpleasant to interact with. The gentleman who took our second order was kind and helpful.
